Many prints above a certain size will be mailed as a roll, rather than flat. This has clear safety precautions, but it can make the poster very "curly" upon arrival.
Thankfully, this can be corrected before framing. You certainly don't have to flatten the prints out before framing, but it will make it a little easier.
